Day 01 -Habarana

Upon arrival, transfer to Habarana and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight – Habarana

Day 02 -Habarana– Polonnaruwa–Minneriya –Habarana

Leave after breakfast to visit Sri Lanka’s second ancient capital Polonnaruwa. Explore the city by bicycle the easiest way to get around the palaces and temple complex. While the local bikes may be old, they are good enough to get the job done
Polonnaruwa – this medieval city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rose to fame as the capital (10th - 12th century AD) after the decline of Anuradhapura.
Return to Habarana in the afternoon. Stop en route at Minneriya National Park for a jeep safari

Day 03 -Habarana – Hiriwaduna – Sigiriya - Habarana

Wake up early and drive to Hiriwaduna, a village that lies sprawled around a reservoir located off the main Habarana road.
Hiriwaduna Trek Thereafter Visit Sigiriya and climb the Rock Fortress.
Sigiriya – this UNESCO World Heritage Site, a spectacular Rock Fortress, is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions.

Day 04 -Habarana – Dambulla - Kandy

Leave for Kandy after an early breakfast visiting the Dambulla cave temples and a spice garden en-route.
Dambulla – located in the north central province this UNESCO World Heritage Site which dates back to the 01st century BC, is an amazing complex of 05 caves, first used as a refuge by an ancient king who on regaining his throne, commissioned magnificent carved images within the living rock.
Thereafter make a visit to the much revered Temple of the Tooth Relic of the Lord Buddha.
Kandy – a lovely exotic city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which retains an aura of grandeur, time has not affected.

Day 05 -Kandy – Peradeniya – Nuwaraeliya

After breakfast make a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, the home for many Ayurvedic and other valuable plant life.
Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya is situated about 5.5 km to the west from the city of Kandy and attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees.
Thereafter transfer to Nuwaraeliya and visit a Tea Planation site.

Day 06 -Nuawaraeliya – Horton Plains - Yala

Early morning transfer to Horton Plains National Park for a 3 hour trek.
Horton Plains – this National Park, on Sri Lanka's highest plateau over 2100m above sea level in the central mountains is a strange and tranquil region with an astounding variety of scenery – from misty mountains to grasslands, from marshes to ice cold streams, lakes and waterfalls.
Thereafter transfer to Yala and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 07 -Yala National park

Enjoy a morning game drive at the Yala National park.
Yala – Sri Lanka’s most known National Park is popular for Elephant, Leopard, Bear, Crocodile and Wild Boar. 97,800 hectares in extent, this is the second largest of Sri Lanka’s National Parks.
Return back to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
